Brand new rebuilt engine (Christmas 2004): AE101 silvertop bottom end with 6mm metal head gasket, ported and polished 16v head, bigger injectors, brand new HKS 272 cam inlet/exhaust with adjustable cam pulleys, complete Hotbits exhaust system, estimated 160hp. Lightened flywheel (5kg), TRD 3-puck racing clutch.

The car is fricking quick (can drag with a B16B no problem) and it's beautiful to drive with the aircon and radio all working. I drove the
car everyday to work.

SOLD March 2005 to make way for a new project!

The bonnet scoop wasn't my idea, I bought the car with it, so it gives the impression that it's a turbo, which it isn't. AE101 bottom-end (block, crank, pistons) mated to a ported 16v big-port head and HKS 272 inlet/exhaust cams with 8.2mm lift.

Wheels are SSR Reverse Mesh 15x7inch with Yokohama ES100 195/50 which only last me about 3 months haha!! Exhaust is complete mandrel-bend 2 inch system with straight thru mufflers.

Carbon Fiber front splitter. 4deg geative camber provides incredible corner speed and front-end response.

Recaro Tomcats are wonderfully comfortable! Driver's side includes 3inch Sparco 4-point racing harness. Trim is original and in good condition with no cracks etc.

Spent months trying to sort out the wiring of the bloody car, but now the digital dash works beautifully. Omoni 12,000rpm rev counter with shiftlight and Omoni Oil Pressure Gauge provide additional information when drifting hard. Sparco steering wheel not as comfortable as a MOMO. Clarion CD player and Pivot 4-position fuel controller installed.

These are my custom-made suspension bits before they went in. Roll Centre Adjusters made here in Malaysia to my design, provide additional 20mm front track.

Front suspension installed. Spring rate 7kgmm.

Rear suspension with external gas resevoir installed. Special height-adjustable platform for rear springs in original location was custom-made. Rear spring rate 5kgmm

Engine don't look like much but it pulls like a freight train from 4000rpm - 8000rpm.

The only way to drive an AE86: sideways!!
